where & when will steubenville take place
There are 2 Steubenville Mid-America conferences in 2024. We will be attending the first weekend on July 5-7th.
Both are held on the campus of Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. Located in the southwest corner of the state, Springfield is about three hours southwest of St. Louis, just north of Branson, MO. MSU is home to the John Q. Hammons Arena and Juanita K. Hammons Theatre which are where the programming is held.

where & when does the bus leave?
Friday, July 5th at 9:30am (please arrive by 9:00am) from the Family Activities Center (gym) parking lot.
where & when does the bus return?
Sunday, July 16th at approx. 6:00pm to the Family Activities Center (gym) parking lot.
what should i pack?
- Appropriate Modest clothing (Youth Ministry provides 2 t-shirts for Saturday & Sunday)
- A sweatshirt/jacket (the arena where most sessions are held can get cold)
- Good footwear for walking across campus throughout the weekend
- Bedding/sleeping bag for the dorm rooms.
- An air mattress (3 people in each dorm room-1 will be on the floor)
- Toiletries, towels and shower supplies
- Shower shoes (if you want them – dorm showers)
- A water bottle
- Any prayer materials you see fit (Journal, rosary, Bible, etc.)
- Kneeling mat, small pillow
- Snacks
- Spending money for lunch Friday, lunch Sunday, snacks during the weekend, bookstore, etc.

when does registration open?
Registration opens December 2023
How do i register?
Youth participants can register online under the Register tab. See Registration Forms. Paper forms are available upon request.
How much does registration cost?
Conference registration costs $250. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due at the time of registration and the remaining balance of $200 is due by April 3rd.
what is included with the registration cost?
The conference registration includes transportation, accommodations, all meals (except Friday and Sunday lunch) and two t-shirts.
How do I pay?
The conference fee can be paid online under the Register tab or by check. Checks should be made payable to St. Joseph's Church and may be turned in to the Parish Administrative Offices.
can i make installment payments?
Yes, the conference fee can be paid in smaller, more frequent amounts.
when is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is Monday, February 5, 2024.
If I have to drop out, is the conference fee refundable?
All payments are non-refundable after each payment due date.
Housing:
where will i sleep during steubenville?
The students will sleep on-campus in separate boys and girls dorms.
How many people to a room?
Each dorm room has two beds and will sleep three students (one on the floor).
Can i choose my roommates?
Roommate preferences may be listed on the registration forms and will be considered when room assignments are being made.
Chaperones:
What are the criteria for adult chaperones?
Chaperones must be 21 years of age and in compliance with Diocesan Safe Environment Policies. Chaperones should be prepared and able to walk long distances across campus, handle loud music in the sessions and keep up with active youth. Most importantly, chaperones must have a heart for youth and a desire to help them grow in their walk with Christ.
